Exterior Cleaning in Caloundra

Caloundra

Caloundra has a lot of established brick-and-tile homes, and tile roofs here grow lichen and black streaking quickly — the sea air keeps everything damp. Left alone it holds moisture against the tiles, lifts them and eventually shows up as blocked valleys and gutter overflow.

Closer to Kings Beach and Bulcock Beach there are unit blocks and older beach houses with painted and rendered exteriors that need soft washing, not pressure. Inland at Pelican Waters, Little Mountain and the Aura estate the homes are newer — rendered walls, dark Colorbond roofs that show every bit of dust, and exposed-aggregate driveways that come up beautifully with a surface cleaner and a seal.

Gutter vacuuming is popular in Caloundra too, especially for the older homes with big trees and the double-storey places where ladder work isn't safe.
