Gutter Vacuuming & Cleaning
Blocked gutters cause water damage, rotten fascia and roof leaks into ceilings — and in summer, dry leaf litter is a real fire risk. Our gutter vacuum system clears everything from the ground where possible, so there's less risk and less mess. From $200.
Overview
Gutter vacuuming is a core part of what we do. A commercial gutter vacuum with a camera on the pole lets us clear long, high and awkward runs from the ground — safer than ladder work, and no walking your roof.
Every clean includes a proper check of the gutters, brackets, fascia and roof edge while we're there. Regular cleans catch the small problems — a rusted section, a loose bracket, lifted flashing — before they turn into an expensive repair.
What's included
- Full gutter clear-out — leaves, twigs, sludge and built-up silt
- Downpipe checks and clearing of blockages
- All debris bagged and removed from site (not dumped in your garden or bin)
- Visual check of gutters, brackets, fascia and roof edge for damage
- Minor on-the-spot fixes where possible — re-seating a bracket, clearing a downpipe
- Before and after photos, and a note of anything that needs a plumber or roofer

How we do it
Our process
Assess
Roof height, gutter type, tree cover and downpipe layout — we work out the safest approach.
Vacuum

Flush & test
Downpipes checked for flow and cleared if they're blocked.
Clean up
All debris bagged and taken away, paths and driveway blown down.

Good to know
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Every 6–12 months for most homes, and more often under gums or pines. We recommend a clean heading into summer storm season — overflowing gutters in heavy rain are one of the most common causes of ceiling leaks.
If blockages keep happening, we can quote gutter guard / leaf guard as a separate job.
Pricing. From $200 for a standard single-storey home. Double-storey, steep-pitch or heavily treed properties are quoted on site. Free quote — and cheaper bundled with a roof wash.
FAQ
Common questions
Do you clean from the ground or the roof?
From the ground with the vacuum wherever we safely can. Where that's not possible we use safe, harnessed roof access.
What do you do with the debris?
It's bagged and taken away. We don't tip it into your garden beds or your bin without asking first.
Can you fix a leaking or sagging gutter?
We handle minor fixes on the spot — re-seating brackets, clearing downpipes. Anything structural we'll photograph and refer to a plumber or roofer.
Can you install gutter guard?
Yes, we can quote leaf guard separately if blockages are a recurring problem for you.
